We’re now running all of our sessions from Brickwork Studios on Symingtons Recreation Ground, off St Mary’s Road in Market Harborough and we’re currently offering your first session FREE!

The number of spaces available for each workshop is limited to 10-12 students to ensure that we maintain a good student to teacher ratio, so sign-up quick to secure your place! Also, if you live outside of Market Harborough but would love to see Room for Music in your area, fill out the form below and add a comment to let us know where you want us!

Workshop Terms & Conditions

Once you’ve submitted the above form we’ll send you a prefilled enrollment form. Once you’re happy and have signed on the dotted line, the following terms and conditions will apply:

1. By enrolling you are agreeing to attend a full term or full remaining term of Room for Music workshops.
2. Payment should be made via cheque or bank transfer at or before commencement of the first workshop session and on a full or half term basis.
3. Room for Music will not offer a refund if a student is unable to attend a session following enrolment.
4. Room for Music reserves the right to modify terms & conditions, codes of conduct and the format / location / timing / cost of workshops with reasonable written notice.
5. All students are to abide by the Room for Music code of conduct and students will be held responsible and fully liable for any loss, theft or damage to Room for Music property.
6. Room for Music reserves the right to expel or suspend any student for breach of the code of conduct or other inappropriate behaviour.
7. Room for Music cannot accept responsibility or liability in case of personal injury, personal property damage or loss, theft, injury, accident, or misconduct during workshops. In no event shall Room for Music be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, except for those resulting from our own negligence or breach of duty.
8. Room for Music is insured for public liability, all tutors are CRB checked and our equipment PAT tested.
9. Room for Music will occasionally take promotional photographs and video footage of students. Please inform us if you would prefer not to be included in such materials.

Student Code of Conduct

At Room for Music we believe that everyone should have the right to a safe, secure and functional environment in which to learn and enjoy playing music, regardless of age, race, disability or ethnicity. The following code of conduct sets out our expectation of all students that attend our workshops and other events:

1. Students will not use foul, abusive, racist or otherwise offensive language.
2. Bullying, intimidation, harassment and assault in any form will not be tolerated.
3. Possession or consumption of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited as is attending workshops under the influence of such substances.
4. Room for Music is a strictly non-smoking environment both inside and within the grounds of the premises.
5. Students will arrive and leave workshops promptly, making sure that all equipment is returned.
6. Students will turn off mobile phone and other non-workshop related electronic devices during workshop sessions.
7. Students will not damage, vandalise or deface Room for Music property or the property of another.
8. Students will not consume food or drink in the workshop environment.
9. Students will respect tutors and fellow learners at all times and encourage a positive and creative environment.

Any behaviour considered in breach of this code of conduct will be treated extremely seriously and could result in immediate expulsion or suspension without refund.
