Our group-based Live Band Workshops allow musicians (vocals, guitar, bass, drums and keys) the opportunity to play with their peers. In these workshops you’ll learn to play the songs that you love, write your own original material, and get the opportunity to perform live at a variety of showcase gigs and events.
During each session up to five students work with an experienced tutor to develop instrumental, vocal and performance skills, with the option to move between instruments to develop and understand a range of skills.
During our fun Born To Rock Workshops young musicians explore a range of instruments and play as they learn in a real studio setting.
Sessions include singalongs, creative composition and hands-on play with real guitars, keyboards, drums and percussion, all guided by our expert tutors who gently introduce elements of pitch, rhythm and instrument technique to develop key skills and encourage each individual to find their groove!
Learn more about a wide range of music-based technical disciplines, from live studio recording, to editing, mixing and mastering, alongside production, songwriting and arrangement techniques.
With our entire professional recording studio at your disposal, these 1-to-1 sessions give you the opportunity to focus on the skills that you're most interested in developing, alongside one of our industry professional tutors in a working studio environment.
As part of an active hub for musicians and tutors in our area, we are also able to offer a variety of flexible, one-to-one sessions across a wide range of music disciplines, in the inspiring surroundings of a professional recording and rehearsal studio (Brickwork Studios).
From traditional instrument tuition on bass, guitar and drums (other instruments available, just ask!) to songwriting and development, music industry masterclasses and studio/production techniques, we have links with a network of talented music industry professionals so even if we don’t have the right tutor on the RFM books we’re bound to know someone who can help!
